Persönlichkeitsmerkmale und Präferenzen betrieblicher Entscheidungsträger/-innen

In recent years, research into the role of personal characteristics and preferences of decision-makers in organisational decisions has become increasingly important in education economics. However, relatively little information is available on their personality, preferences and socio-demographic background. With the help of data from the 2017/2018 cost-benefit survey on company-based training conducted by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training, this gap is to be closed for Germany. To this end, 3,000 people who were involved in decisions on initial and further training and/or the recruitment of skilled workers were surveyed. This broad basis enables a differentiated analysis of different groups of decision-makers.
