Since 1934 the Zeitschrift des Deutschen Vereins fürKunstwissenschaft(Journal of the German Society for Art History) has been issued one of the most prestigious periodicals on art history of the German-speaking area. The contributions dwell on art monuments from the Middle Ages to the 19th century as well as fields of art theory and history of art history. All articles pass a peer review process and intensive editorial processing. The periodical is published annually.
